On the lake – Life's a beach!

 

 

The first 2 images show the beach the way it used to be. The last shows the excavation that has begun!! This beach will be nearly double the size it used to be with a retaining wall and built in bench seat abutting the large tree in the foreground and continuing the length to the staircase. At that point it will dip further back into a half circle which is where the new firepit will live. On the other side of the staircase towards the red boat shed, that area will also be opened up, cleaned up and pushed back. When all the dirty and very hard work is done, sand will be brought in to cover everything! Not sure about you guys, but I’m ready to take a nap there asap!!
